As many of you know, our church has been incredibly blessed the last 3 years to meet in a beautiful building – RENT FREE! The owners of the building are also missionaries, and they saw the Lord at work, and wanted the building to be used for God’s glory. They built the church building in 2008 for the ministry of the children’s Bible club (which is how Franco and I met in 2013). Now, as they are seeking to follow the Lord’s guidance, they have offered to sell us the church building at an incredibly generous price!

Over the last year, we have prayed about this, and we feel the Lord’s leading to move forward in faith to buy the church building. There are a few reasons for that:

-Most of the people at our church are able to be involved at church because of the location. Only four families at our church use a car to arrive, so accessibility is important for the congregation. 

-We strongly believe that  God is working through the church in this particular neighborhood to reach those who have not yet believed.  There are not other churches nearby. We desire to be a light in this community, and this particular location is strategic in doing that. 

-The church currently is very young, and while families give generously, many are living in poverty. Our desire is for the church to eventually be self-sustaining. Not needing to pay rent in another location would be a huge help in that process. 

Would you pray with us for God’s provision and guidance in this process? While the asking price is incredibly generous, it is going to be close to $75,000, and that is money we do not have.

We are confident that God can and will provide if he chooses to do so. We are excited to watch how He will work over the next few months.

We plan to be in Texas from June-October, and are so excited to share more personally about how God is at work in the church in Cochabamba.
